The EDELOG digitalization platform is used regularly at C.F. Maier
At the heart of the initiative is the “AI For Quality in Glass Fiber reinforced Plastics” project. It combines the strengths of the EDELOG and KITT4SME digitalization platforms. EDELOG from Conclurer enables companies to model their production processes in detail, integrate IoT data and efficiently record crucial production data.
A key component of this project is the development of the AI module PERS-AI. This module uses the data collected by EDELOG to perform in-depth analyses and determine precise parameters for optimizing production performance.

Maier's production facilities offer ideal conditions for demonstrating the performance and benefits of PERS-AI in the real world and the transformative power of digitalization in modern manufacturing.
The production of components made of glass fiber reinforced plastic places high demands on the production environment, which not only require comprehensive expertise from employees, but also precisely controlled environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature. The aim of the joint project was to meet these challenges, ensure production efficiency and increase product quality.
The use of AI not only enables projects to be monitored. It also allows for predictive adjustments in real time. This technology enables the company to identify critical production factors at an early stage and significantly improve product quality in the long term by combining machine learning and advanced analytics. “As a result, we can now optimize the production process based on data, which was previously based on the experience and personal assessments of employees,” says Maximilian Maier, CEO of the C.F.-Maier Group.
This innovative approach helps to reduce waste and increase efficiency in the production process. “By implementing this AI-controlled platform, both companies are setting new standards in quality assurance and impressively demonstrating the potential of digitalization in modern production,” says Marvin Scharle, Managing Director of Conclurer.
As part of the KITT4SME initiative, this project shows how targeted cooperation and the use of AI technologies can make a significant contribution to the promotion and success of SMEs.
